Vision Statement
At Souvenir Elementary School, we believe that all students can be empowered to embrace learning in a diverse and respectful environment where the development, expansion, demonstration, and articulation of knowledge are prioritized. Students can achieve their personal best and learn to take ownership of their emotional, social and physical well-being through the acquisition of important life-long skills.
Historical Information
Souvenir Elementary School was originally founded as a high school for the St-Martin School Board in 1963.
In 1965, it became an elementary school for the Chomedey community. Throughout the years, Souvenir has maintained a thriving, multicultural population. We have a long tradition of being a meaningful and challenging learning environment that is also warm and positive. Combined with the feeling of home and community, the school experience gives students the opportunity to develop their potential.
